Chandler-based cybersecurity company Emailage Corp. has big expansion plans in its future.
CEO and founder Rei Carvalho said the company has plans to hire at least 40 more local employees and expand its international offices after recently doubling the size of its headquarters building.
“We’ve been profitable for the past two years. We’re not growing based on artificial investment,” Carvalho said Thursday. “I’m extremely excited to see our growth as we get stronger and stronger.”
Emailage has more than doubled the size of its headquarters in downtown Chandler by taking over the entire floor in the building. The 30,000-square-foot office used to be part of Tanga Inc., a Chandler-based shopping deals site that filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection a month ago.
The company’s software-as-a-service platform provides global fraud prevention and identity verification using email address data.
“We are on track to grow 80 to 100 percent in revenue from last year,” said Carvalho, who didn’t want to share actual revenue numbers for the private company.”
